Does anyone know if the MAK 90 AK is cali legal.

I know of one for sale but dont want it if I will end up in jail

The MAK90 is a CA listed assault rifle, no way to make it legal period.

Nope it's named.
If you have one, it better be a RAW. If you are looking to buy one, don't.

You can buy a mak-91, it has to be compliant though. There is one for sale here somewhere.:)

It's ashamed that they are on the list because out of all the non custom AKs I fired the MAK90 was the best.

I have one an it shot like a dream. When I moved to CA I had to leave it in GA with all the other black rifles and suppressors I couldn't import into CA.

I agree that the Norinco MAK-90 is one of the better AK clones ever made, but they came after the original CA AWB.

The Poly-Tech and Norinco AKs that were available before the original CA AWB were far superior than the Norinco MAK-90.
