My flat top upper is coming soon and I need your opinion on a reasonably priced rear sights. I'm not sure yet if I will later on mount a scope so a flip vs a regular model is to be considered. But one thing I notice when browsing for BUIS, it seems not all, in fact I think most BUIS brand only has windage knob, does'nt elevation play an important part in accuracy? If as one article in Larue says that its just for back up so no need for elevation, then perhaps I think the model QD LT-103 is the cheapest, though its not flip up design. There are also A2 type mount on rail models with both windage and elevation but it looks kinda bulky.

Your thoughts gents?

The front sight base has the elevation adjustment.

Yes I know that but, does'nt the A2 detachable carry handle with sights has both windage and elevaton adjustments as well?

I got the Troy flip up rear battle sight (http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Troy-Folding-Battle-Sight-REAR-p/troy%20rear%20sight%20-%20rear.htm) and use the front sight (A2) for elevation.
