Isn't that stupid?

The Magpul MS2 is incompatible with the Magpul UBR...

:(

PS. I found that the easiest way to use it is to hook the MS2 to a QD sling swirvel that is attached to the mounting point that on the left side just above your pistol grip

How does it balance with that rail, front heavy at all?

Very nice, just got that same upper, and was curious to see what the lower looks like. How much for the basic pkg. without the add ons?

With the scope? Seems very reasonable pricing. I think it will cost me $400 more to build something similar myself.

$1599 with no optics. I just ordered mine from Rainier Arms too :-D.

Except mine is bone-stock, and I'm new to ARs as well. I have a couple questions for you (Johnny):

What are those side covers you have? I like those better than the ladders...

And that FH looks different than the one it ships with, curious - why did you change it?

That's excellent. I'll have to look into those rail side panels covers, I like those :-).

BTW: Did you cut the ladder rail covers that the DD M4 came with to accommodate with the short distance (bottom side rail)? Like I said, I'm still learning :-)

nice rifle.
I would put the SF X200/300 on the top rail part forward of the sight post.
That way you get the same light when clearing corners/rooms left and right without the shadow portion.

WOW, it's great to see a NICE rifle for once!! It gets kinda old when you see these "check my AR" thread and it's a bunch of cheap-arse gunshow parts with some fakepoint on it...or one nice part that they blew their entire load on (UBR for example) and then they have UTG rail with other junk parts.

Like the AAC 18-Toother you got there...Nice knife and gloves too... ;)
