In the wake of the deadly police shootings in Stanton Heights, do you feel current gun control laws are too weak, are well-balanced, are too restrictive or make little difference one way or the other?

To OP-
it is in our best interests if you make the link to this poll a cold link, making us copy/paste the link into our address bar instead of just clicking on it.

if it's a hot link, the host of the poll can tell where the traffic is coming from. if they're biased against us, they can throw out votes from this site, or throw out the whole poll as "skewed."

in the meantime, i suggest everyone else copy/paste the hotlink into their browser address bar instead of clicking on the hotlink.

once again, please don't click on the hotlink, as the host of the poll can see where the traffic is coming from and negate our votes if they're biased.

i found out about this bs practice because people on ar15.com would post hotlinks to polls and forums, and then our votes wouldn't get counted, the poll would be pulled, etc.

instead, copy/paste the address to your browser's address bar.

Good advice, and I like to click and drag the links to polls into new tabs. It withholds the referring address same as copy/paste.

We can also use a redirecting service like Anonymz: Poll link (http://www.anonymz.com/?http://www.post-gazette.com/polls/default.asp?pollID=3019)

Incompatible with Safari apparently. I'll try Firefox tomorrow.

It looks like all of the other polls on that newspaper's web site average around 200 votes per day. I think the 2000 votes per day they are getting on this poll might tip them off, no matter where the traffic is coming from. :p
