Recently I have been looking into building the ultimate AR-15 7.62x39 upper, so I compiled a list of parts I will need to complete the build.

Before I take the next step and purchase these items, I need to know if a standard gas tube will work properly with the gas pressures produced by the 7.62 round. I've looked for an AR-15 gas tube designed for the 7.62 round but can't find one, so I'm assuming a standard one will work.

Parts list:
-Vltor weapon systems MUR-1 upper. (chosen for looks, and rigidity, to improve accuracy)
-Daniel Defense Lite 7.0
-DPMS Barrel: AR-15 7.62x39mm Russian heavy contour 1 in 10" twist 16" Chrome Moly Matte with Pre-Ban front sight.
-DPMS Bolt carrier
-MGI's Enhanced Reliability Firing Pin and Bolt. (The Firing pin and bolt more closely mimic's a true AK-47 firing system giving much greater reliability while firing the 7.62x39 ammo.)
-AR-15/M16 Pigtail gas tube
-Charging handle
-A2 flash hider
