If I dros (buy) something this weekend, when can I dros (buy) again???

Also is there any limit to amount of stuff I buy or sell in any time period?

Never. You can only DROS once per year. Unless it is a long gun, then you can DROS as much as you want as often as you want. Or if it is a handgun, then once every 30 day periods.

Otherwise once a year.

What kind of "something"? No limits on Long Rifles, I believe handguns have a 30 day waiting period before buying another in CA. Not sure if it applies to private party transfers, or "NEW" handguns.

If DROSing a dealer sale handgun:

You may DROS another dealer-sale handgun in 30 days.
You may DROS a PPT handgun immediately.
You may DROS a PPT or dealer sale longgun immediately.

If DROSing a PPT handgun:

You may DROS a PPT or dealer sale handgun immediately.
You may DROS a PPT or dealer sale longgun immediately.

If DROSing a longgun:

You may DROS a PPT or dealer sale handgun immediately.
You may DROS a PPT or dealer sale longgun immediately.

Hey Wes, just curious, when does the "once a year" apply?

I actually had the same question as Bill. Does the 30 day period begin from the day you place the order or 10 days later when you pick up the gun?

30 days begin when you start the DROS. There is a date/time stamp on the upper left side of the DROS - it's 30 days from that date/time.

To be more exact it is "30" 24hour periods. Dont mistakenly DROS 30 days later at a time of day prior to your first DROS time stamp.
Keep buying gun's guys......

yep I can't DROS again till May 12. Although may be a bit longer than that before I buy the next one.

Also as a reminder, if it is a consignment or a ppt then in most cases the 1 per 30 days don't count. I've gotten a consignment gun one day and bought a new gun the next day.
