By a count of Nine to Zero, The U.S. Supreme Court said the Second Amendment confers an individual right. So I think that one is pretty much SETTLED once and for all.

No..... It was not....


9-0 agreed the Second Amendment conferred an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT.

5-4 agreed that the DC ban VIOLATED that Individual right.

They are two separate questions, and the distinction is HUGE, namely because the MAIN ARGUMENT against the Second Amendment for the last 60+ years is that "the people" it refers to is the STATES, rather than individual citizens.

The question presented by this case is not whether the
Second Amendment protects a “collective right” or an
“individual right.” Surely it protects a right that can be
