What does SPF mean? Also these are listed on the ban list:

Rock River Arms, Inc.
Standard A-2
Car A2
Standard A-4 Flattop
Car A4 Flattop
NM A2 - DCM Legal
LE Tactical Carbine

So does that mean if we have a Rock River complete lower we cannot put that upper on it?

SPF means "Sold, Pending Funds", and I've not heard of uppers being on a "Ban List". There has been a list of lowers that are "banned" but uppers?

no not banned uppers. it is a list of complete guns that are banned so i was wondering if putting your mid length upper with a RRA unbanned lower would make it a banned gun. im not sure if there is a clear answer.

If it's not on the Kasler list and has no characteristics in California Penal Code 12276.1, then in my opinion it's good to go.

Not trying to thread jack but,, you should direct this question at the rifleman's forum. Check the link below.

Uppers are not banned. It is okay to own as long as you don't pair it with an RRA lower. Otherwise, you are building an RRA banned configuration.
