View Full Version : The Brady Plan: Coming to a home near you!

Thought you guys might be interested in this:

Dear NAGR supporter:

We've known for a while that Sarah Brady and her goons have been scheming to use Barack Obama's presidency to overturn whatever pro-gun laws we have left in this country.

Well, I just finished going through every demand Sarah Brady's gun control group sent to President Obama, and what I read made me shudder.

You know the situation in Washington.

Barack Obama is easily the most anti-gun President in the history of the United States.

At his disposal are HUGE Democrat majorities in both Houses of Congress -- the most anti-gun Congress in history. And now we know exactly what the gun control crowd plans.

That's why it's vital you IMMEDIATELY fill out the NAGR Second Amendment Action Survey on our website.

I'll explain the survey's importance and provide you with the link shortly.

But first, please understand this is an EMERGENCY.

We may not have much time.

Here's just a brief list of what Sarah Brady is demanding:

Massive new taxes on ammunition: Whether we're talking shotgun shells, ammo for a handgun, or rounds for a .22, the gun-grabbers don't want anyone to be able to afford the cost of ammunition.

More restrictions on who can purchase firearms: By "closing" the so-called "terror gap," the gun grabbers want to forbid anyone who's had so much as a speeding ticket from ever owning or buying a gun. Since when has the Left ever cared about terrorists? They're targeting you!

A permanent ban on ALL semi-automatic rifles: Unlike the Clinton ban, the gun-grabbers want a new law on ALL semi-automatic rifles that will NEVER expire -- and as I showed you last week, the new White House added this exact item to their agenda on their web page.

Micro-chipping all firearms: They want to mandate that all firearms have an implanted tracking microchip enabling Barack Obama's handpicked snoops to see where your gun is at all times.

National gun registration: By removing the "record destruction requirement" from the Brady Bill, the gun-grabbers want Eric Holder and his army of bureaucrats to be able to track every gun purchase and have a file on every gun owner in a national government database.

Literally, the Obama White House is already taking direct orders from Sarah Brady -- and is publishing her gun control agenda on the official White House website!

With the large anti-gun majority in the U.S. House, Speaker Pelosi has ALREADY wiped out all rules designed to protect our pro-gun allies. She doesn't intend to "work with the good folks on both sides of the aisle and seek compromise" -- she intends to rule the U.S. House like a DICTATOR.

With one more vote in the Senate (totaling 60), Senator Reid knows he can ram any bill into law he can dream up.

And he knows just as well that there are more than a few liberal Senate Republicans -- like Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and John McCain of Arizona -- whose votes can go either way on ANY Second Amendment issue.

And you know President Obama will gladly sign any gun control bill -- with a wink and a smile for the news cameras -- when it reaches his desk.

The Supreme Court? Right now, we have a very shaky 5-4 "pro-gun" majority -- but remember, President Obama will soon be making his own appointments to the court.

For months, the gun control groups led by Sarah Brady and funded by billionaire Mayor Michael Bloomberg have been preparing for these fights.

And you know how the media is against us.

Just consider the first three anti-gun bills you and I can expect to come up in the first months of Obama's Administration.

First: You and I need to expect a tough fight over legislation designed to massively-increase taxes on ammunition. Should it pass, you may still be able to buy most ammunition, but it could cost you hundreds of dollars for just a few boxes.

Second: There will be a huge battle over national gun registration. They already have your name if you bought a gun through a dealer, and now they want to keep it and "research" it ... and then one day they'll say one or more of your guns is no longer legal, and they'll come to get it.

Third: The gun-grabbers will start pushing to "close" the so-called "terror loophole."

Ever had a run-in with the cops -- even if you were innocent? You lose your guns.

Ever ticked off anyone? Well, they make a simple call to a government agency, say they're afraid you might be "dangerous" and you lose your guns.

The problem is I just don't have the resources to fight all these battles in the next few months. So I need your advice.

Which ONE fight is most critical to you? Please tell me by clicking here to take our survey ( http://www.nationalgunrights.org/action.htm ).

Of course, there's another option -- the one I hope and pray you'll choose.

That's to fight against ALL OF THE ABOVE: To stand our ground, fight and WIN.

And before I go any farther, I want to tell you I DO BELIEVE we can win.

By mobilizing millions of pro-gun Americans all over the country to contact their politicians and express their outrage, we can ultimately defeat EVERY ONE of the gun-grabbers' schemes.

We must send the message that any politician who votes for the gun-grabbers' schemes should look for another job. But realize this option will not be cheap.

So if you choose to stand with me, please make a generous contribution of $150 to help in this fight.

I know that's a lot, but these fights are just that important.

If you can't do $150, please make a contribution of $100, $50 or at least $25.

I can tell you every dollar contributed to this fight will be spent to defeat EVERY gun control scheme the Democrats in Congress try to ram through.

So please, fill out the NAGR Second Amendment Action survey and consider a generous contribution of $150, $100, $50, $25 -- or whatever you can afford -- IMMEDIATELY.

Please don't set this letter aside.

Can I count on you to join the fight to protect our gun rights by making a generous contribution of $150, $100, $50, $25 -- or whatever you can afford?

Sincerely,

Dudley Brown

Executive Director

National Association for Gun Rights

P.S. The gun control crowd now has the most anti-gun Congress and President in U.S. history.

And they intend to use their power by going after our gun rights.

Please fill out the survey I've sent you, and consider a contribution of $150, $100, $50, $25 -- or whatever you can afford -- IMMEDIATELY so we can start combatting these threats.

Help protect our gun rights before it's too late!

The NAGR appears to be just another one of those "mom and pop" organizations that probably do more harm than good.

Do not waste your money with them.

+1, a bunch of that shint is false, and some I have never heard of before.

Democrats remember that happened to the Democratic Senators from red states that passed the 1994 crime bill.. They lost their jobs the next election.

Doesn't mean we should be on guard, it just means that the Democraps have bigger fish to fry than more gun control right now. Passing more socialist programs right now is the main issue on democrats minds.

The brady bunch is losing ground, they are also shrinking by the day, and the NRA is growing. This country is turning more pro gun, and our elected officals are taking notice. Now as far as the economy goes, people are as left wing as they have ever been.

Not to mention all the New Gun Owners who were on the fence on buying a gun and took the plunge after Obama won the Election.

but i agree, im not a free market purist in by any means, Socialist Democracies aren't that bad :D (are they?) just leave my F*** guns & knives alone.

Theyre even coming for your slingshots. The only way you can help is to send me $150. Hurry they mean buisiness.

Actually, I have heard the idea floated by the antis to put RFIDs in firearms. How they'd do so in a way that they weren't easily located and removed or disabled, I don't know. Killing an RFID is easier than taking a serial number off.
