View Full Version : Question about Uppers
03-30-2009, 2:54 PM
Hypothetical question so please do not flame. IF there is ever a gun ban in the future, will the production of uppers be affected? To my understanding uppers do not have serial numbers and are not considered the "gun" so I am assuming companies can and will be in business, however limited. Thanks.
Please tell us the exact wordings of the "ban"... then we can answer your question.

If, and the word "IF", needs to be understood here, they follow the same "plan", then uppers are good to go.
"semi-automatic rifles or rifle parts used in semi-automatic rifles are illegal, Possession hear in constitutes a Class A Felony, except where allowed in sub section A and B.
A- LEO may use and posses said rifles or parts, LEO may give to direct family and friends, or those who pay into their re-election campaign.
B- Criminals who steal said rifles or rifle parts will be charged with a lesser crime in order to save space in local jails for Pot smokers serving life terms.
