Well on Friday 3/27/2009 @ 0700 The blm ranger that seized my OLL at panoche had to return it to me at the Tracy police station. It was awesome over 200 motorcycle cops hanging around the station they where staging for the opd funeral and I walked in met with the ranger and duty Sargent looked over my riffle boxed it up shook hands and walked out.

I would like to thank Gene Hoffman, Don Kilmer,The Cal Guns Foundation,And every member of this board what a fantastic community of like minded individuals.

Don And Gene where instrumental in securing the fast return of my riffle it was only gone something like 22 days. You guys helped make owning an Ar 15 possible again and also fight to help us all keep them. It feels good to be a small guy and still be able to win because of the support of this community. You can call me a life member and call on me anytime.

Rob, what did the ranger look like? Kinda short with gelled up dark brown hair?

Hopefully, the Ranger learned something from this. Too bad it happened, but I gotta hope that some good came from it.

Oh I bet they have learned from this. We had a "contact"(thats what they say) with the BLM rangers and they were very cool. They kept saying "we've made some mistakes".......yeah we know you have;)

They were asking about our guns and why we went with those types of builds.

Glad everything worked out for us. I dont think the will be seizing anymore legal riffles out there at panoche.
If your riffle is not legal or configured legal 100% of the time dont bring it.

The guys we talked to were different then. I'm glad it worked out for you Rob.
Now the next fight begins......I hope you can get that one worked out as painlessly as possible. I'll be praying for you man.

Congratulations on the return of your property. I hope this will lead to a better understanding of OLL by law enforcement.
