Steel core has not been legal to import into the US since '93 or '94. What is here is all that will ever be available and as people shoot it, we have less and less.

According to the link, '31' - headstamped ammo is LEAD core.

Wrong. Factory 31 was one of the plants that made lead core ammo later on, but that's not the ONLY type of ammo that factory made. This ammo IS steel core and it's well documented.

Woah! Cool your jets, HAAS. I was merely stating what I saw on the link, followed by a QUESTION MARK (?) which means 'I'm making sure the ammo is correct as for what it is being advertised .'- as I was interested in buying.;)

If you had read the article in it's entirety, you will have discovered that:

"All the ammunition that is packed in the paper wrapped bundles has steel cored bullets."
- these cartridges are paper wrapped.

"The earliest known lead core from factory 31 is 1990 dated"
- These cartridges were manufactured in 1973.

"Lead cored ball from factory 31 ALWAYS has a green case mouth seal."
-these cartridges have a red case mouth seal.

It has nothing to do with the item itself or what is being posted. I PM'd you and TRIED to buy the REST, but you "don't want to" ship. That was money in the bank. Oh well!;)
