I am curious...

Can a person in Oregon with a CHL carry a HG in a home, vehicle or public place that is considered lawful if that person is with another person who was once convicted of a felony over 10 years ago?

Will the person be in any way touching the firearm or in any way in control of it? If the answer is no, then yes you can. Don't, however, leave it in the glovebox in front of your felon convicted passenger.
