it seems that the guns on here are starting to stick around alot longer than usual.

more btt's from the seller etc.

seems like the scare is finally starting to slow down.

what do you guys think?

supply is catching up with demand? I am also speculating at the moment that walmart may possibly be slowly catching up on supply with ammo. Even though the shelves are empty, it appears that they may be getting regular shipments on them.

Or the economy just sucks and people are losing their jobs left and right and people are broke. I know I am :(

Well, you can't eat guns or use them to fill up your gas tank.

It's probably more on the lines of a slowing economy with no relief in sight for the foreseeable future that has buyers hesitating.

I'm thinking it'll pick up after April 15th.

The scare will be officially over once AR10 LPK's and Uppers become readily available again, IMHO.

I don't think people are any less panicked about the new administration. They just don't have the money right now.

yet the dealers are still out of stock on most items...

which is a sweet and sour situation.

prices on guns lower and that's good.

but not if you don't have the money to pay for it.

They ran out of Christmas money. ;)

I think the crazed buying is silly but then again I don't think the world will end within the next 4 years.

Old orders. Nodak is still filling in orders from last year...

like others have said, I think it has to do more with the economy and everyone losing their jobs.....I'm pretty fortunate to still have a job, however, I am still limiting myself to just one firearms purchase this year......

Most people care more about having money in their savings account right now than a ban.

People got their guns. Now we have issues with AMMO and reloading components availability.

Lot of stuff still backordered. Some manufacturers seem to be filling orders from last year still. Ammo sure doesn't seem to be loosening up here. Brick and mortar FFLs seem to be able to get bits and pieces here and there.

When LEO agencies start running out of ammo, you'll know it's really bad.

ETA: I've been seeing a lot of consignment prices on firearms coming down and have found a bargain or two at various FFL.

I think it's mostly the economy. I know that when I found out I was being laid off (in a month), I stopped all firearm related purchases.
