Say you had $2k burning a hole in your pocket and your wife had ticked you off to the point where you wanted to buy a new gun just to show her who wears the pants in the family. What would you buy?

Don't know what you already have or don't have, but I would personally buy an FN PS-90... (and unfortunately have to neuter it a bit - but I don't care)

If you don't know by now, this plan will not end up going well for you in the end...;)

Change it up a bit. Buy what you want, but when she asks' WTF say, "I bought it for you honey..."

Guaranteed to work.

Spend it on gold and stash it in a safety deposit box she knows nothing about.

Don't do it. Your marriage is built upon trust and faith in each other. Getting revenge is not an option in a marriage that you are working to keep.

If you are planning to end it, that is another story.

73,000 rounds of .22LR?

Sig 226 in 357 SIG, a Makarov (probably next on my list), and a bunch of ammo for them (and my 1911 and her XD 45, and my new Mosin Nagant 91/59 [which I learned didn't require going through an FFL after we already went through an FFL for the PPT so now I have to wait to get it]).

Maybe add the Sig Mosquito (in Pink) for the wife too.

Spend $1000 on some nice jewelry for her, diamond solitaire earrings go over really well. Take the other $1000 and buy yourself whatever gun you want in that range. In other words, however much you spend on jewelry for your wife you can match it spent on guns. Makes for a happy marriage and no resistance to acquiring new guns.

If I didn’t have anything I would buy a rifle and a pistol. Or perhaps rifle pistol and shotgun. Saiga rifle $500 or so, Glock, or XD 520-$600, + shotgun a couple hundred. That leaves you with a couple hundred for ammo and maybe a dozen roses for the wife.

save the two g's.

but bring up a very good point on how you wear the pants.

other wise you will be paying the consequences.

you said you didnt want a divorce; well not spending the money is a great way to avoid that.

If you are smart, nothing..... If not an M1a, PS90, or AR pistol would be my choice in that order. Good luck.

Maybe you should ask her what to buy. :biggrinjester:

Buy a saiga, upgrade it to use AK mags and spend the rest on ammo, so 1400+ rounds of 7.62x39 will get you like 6000-7000 rounds?

Buy Ammo great investment. Or save the money.

$3000 worth of ammo. You can save the other $1000 by not taking her out to dinner for a while!

This way, she'll know who wears the pants and you'll learn that she can get by without any help from what is in your pants.

Good luck!

It will suck if you spend that money now and then lose your job next month.

So therefore go get a nice 1911.

Get a gold desert eagle and a bear trap, it should add up perfectly

Nothing says "woman, I wear the pants!" quite like a brand new 1911 and a crapload of ammo to break it in.

Stash the money, then spank and pie her into submission.

Gun of my dreams cost me $2K. Weekend in Palm Springs with wife cost me $200. I won twice.

Marriage is hard. Play it smart.
