I really wanted one of those when I first found out about them, then like a newb I called my local gun shop to see if they had one and sure enough I found out that it was not on the approved list. Atleast I did not ask while in the shop and look even more dumb.

Congrats, thats a nice revolver

Easier said than done. The judge would be illegal here even without the roster.

Ah, you're right about that. Damn, who comes up with those laws??? I know, I know, someone(s) I voted against

I am not much of a fan of Taurus , i would like to know how well it shoots ? Next you need to try 450 mongo in that , originally made to shoot in the 410/45 colt contenders If i remeber right its 444 marlin brass expanded to to fit a .452 bullet . at least then the bullet wont have that mile long jump to the barrel

The 'approved list' is the least of your problems in California.

It's flat out illegal because it's considered a short barrel shotgan and fires from a revolving cylinder. No ppt's, no LEO sales, nothing.

Oh, and it's a Taurus...:D

Apparently there are a few taurus judge's which are not marked as .410's, they only have .45LC markings, which makes them no different from the .45/70 pistols sold in CA all day long.

I believe several of these have been transferred in CA (primarily to law enforcement officers)
