Yesterday evening when I was watching the news, they reported that gun sales went up some 18% or something from last year. They interviewed Mayfield and they said they cant keep up with the sales. Then, they later on went to say that most of the guns will most likly be stolen and therefore dangerous. So, they said that crime rate will climb or whatever....what a POS reporting, their so bias!

That my friend, is why I don't watch the news anymore. If I want to hear gibberish then I will go hang out with my nieces.

I'll bet its a lot higher than 18%. Also, nice of them to point out most will be stolen, without any statistics to back it up.:(

I have been asked if I have a gun safe with almost all my gun purchases, and some even write them down on the paper. Im okay with it because I do have a safe and laeve all my guns in there.

Unfortunately the crime rate probably will go up (not because of more guns, but because of the lousy economy) and they will pat themselves on the back for predicting it.

Yes, they're so biased.

I'd be interested to hear exactly what they said, not your short version of it. There are some stringent laws regarding news stations against making arbitrary claims that are backed up with huge fines.
