Any cool dealers around the bay area that will do a AR-15 pistol transfer? Called a few local shops, and they said no.

Not sure if you already got what you needed. In January I did a PPT/DROS through PRKArms in Fresno of a stripped pistol-marked DoubleStar receiver.

I don't know if they have any more. PM me if you want more info.

If you do find an FFL closer than Fresno, can you send me the info?

I'll only drive out to Fresno again if you have a pre-82, grandfathered, open-bolt KG9. Oh wait, you do! :43:

They will not accept it unless its a PPT from an LEO or an already DROSED pistol lower from a private citizen.

i never received a PM, can someone give me more info on where to buy the lower IN the bay area instead of doing an out of state transfer?

I have this one for sale and I am willing to meet in Fresno for the NorCal folks.

Go with Irvington Arms. They are a full service brick and mortar store.
Not a kitchen table ffl. Most of which take your money and give nothing in return to the shooting sports.

+1 for Irvington Arms, although I wasn't aware until now that they were ok with AR pistol transfers. They're great folks to deal with.
