High cap mag rebuilt kit, can I sell the old left overs? Or keep them?

If one were to use a AR mag rebuilt kit (Pmag/new USGI) to upgrade a pre-ban highcap AR mag (worn USGI, KKK, USA and no stamp), can I sell, give or throw away the leftover parts?

Or do I have to keep them in my possession forever?

The CA penal code and search tells me nothing..

If it doesn't say anything in the penal codes I don't see why you would not be able to.

However I'd just keep everything.

you could import and buy the hi-cap mag repair kit, so why wouldn't you be able to sell the parts or throw them away? they're just parts.

if your not even selling a whole mag, you would be fine. There is no magazine parts ban, that was clarified above. This is why you where able to LEGALLY import that parts kit you just used.
