So today I was out and about running some errands when I decided to stop and get something to eat. No sooner than I stepped out of my vehicle I saw an LEO pull into the parking lot and head towards the drive-thru.
He noticed my S&W Model 37 on my hip and stopped. I turned on my voice recorder believing that I was going to be harassed by the officer. He rolled down the window and all he said was to make sure that i didnt reach for my firearm and come closer to him.
I complied with that request, wondering what he was going to do. As I approached the window he simply asked if it was loaded, I informed him that it was not. He said ok thank you and have a nice day. The rest of the day was uneventful.
Are LEOs finally getting the point?

Woodland PD. It dont surprise me Ive many similar encounters in woodland just like this one. Woodland is very gun friendly.;)
ETA: Now if we can just show Woodland PD what a switch blade is we would be golden

That, or they just figure "what the hell" and not even bother at all.
But alas, I dream...

is Woodland really pro gun or am I just being clouded by the haze Davis is producing?
PS: Buckhorn's is good, but you probably knew that already!

the Buckhorn is a great restaurant. Thats in winters though.
woodland and davis are two different worlds. One of the reason Im opening the gun shop in woodland is cause its a hick town that loves guns. My partner lives in Davis and he wanted the shop in Davis but the city didnt even want to talk to us about it.
Woodland on the other hand got excited.:D
