Does anyone have any good suggestions for Springfield 1911 mil-spec grips? I have a bigger hand but dont want anything looking bulky, thanks.

Any standard 1911 grips will fit, I prefer the pachmyr with finger grooves (http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/73284-1.html).
I like esmerelda's grips for wood and I'm becoming more comfortable with crimson trace grips. For carry I can't stand anything with rubber grooves as it makes holster presentation harder. I have larger hands and the standard grips fit my hand great.

thanks for advice i will look into those brands
VZgrips. I have a pair of the "Double Diamond" grips in Black G10 material on my RIA USGI 1911, and it looks great!
Doesn't quite look like wood, doesn't quite look like rubber/plastic, but they honestly look like they belong on the gun.
I've got the "Aliens" on my Kimber and they look sexy, but they wouldn't look right on the USGI.
