So I placed an order with a So Cal vendor for an AR-style rifle. Nothing special, just a basic rifle for target practice.

Of course, this was in mid-December. Everytime I call, I've not been given any kind of time frame, other than "parts are coming in...anytime now." I understand that ARs are in demand, but Christ, what is a reasonable amount of time to wait?

24 weeks seems to be the norm. Dec =... Late June

it hasnt even been 3 months for you yet. im sure there are people who ordered back in oct/nov tht have not gotten theirs yet as well. on most uppers there was a 20-25 week wait, so you still have some time to go

Tell me about it. I've had an order since January with a certain manufacturer of receivers and the date keeps getting pushed farther and farther back.
