Well just got back from the range ( Sacramento Valley shooting center ) after a great day of shooting and testing out the very first 100 rds. of reloaded ammo. I was shooting my Noveske rifle with a 16" Recce low pro upper. The reloads were LC brass, Wolf Magnum SR primers, 24gr. H335 and 55gr FMJBT Hornaday bullet. Here is a few pix of the day and a few pix of the targets.....

Ten shot grouping @ 50yds. iron sights.

20 shot grouping @ 100yds iron sights. first 3 high until I had proper sight adjustment. Remaining 17 looked pretty good.

All in all a very great day of sun and fun and a good start in the new hobby of reloading. Thanks to many for their valuable input and advice!

Yeah, congratulations, way better than that other guy that posted his targets with his reloads... LOL

How did it feel when all your rounds went bang? Did you feel that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that you can make good ammo of your own?

Dude, where are all the other shooters at?

Thanks! really felt good seeing the fruits of your labor hit the paper. Hell I was grinning ear to ear! :D I cant wait to reload for the next trip. I shot 100rds, but came home with about 400rds of brass. As far as the shooters.....I believe some got caught up in the daylight savings time snafu and others were @ the gun shows in Sacto and Redding. We left just before 12pm and the range was pretty full when we left. Overall pretty sweet day!

That alone was a great range trip. Anytime I come home with more brass than I left with, was a great day at the range. LOL>
