I'm making up a Wish List for some purchases and I have always thought about getting a T/C setup with some different barrels, etc. I can't find it on the "approved" (boy do I hate that) list, so I'm thinking maybe it's not considered a handgun. What's the deal, are the Contender/Encore pistols legal here? I tried search first.

Single Shot and longer than XX Inches. I forget what the required barrel length is.

Just a reminder that even though the Thompson Center Contender/Encore is CA legal, the less than 16" .45Colt/.410 barrels are not CA legal.
Possession of one with a TC Contender/Encore will land you a CA SBS violation.

I believe the OAL to be met with a 6" bbl attached is 10.5" and the Contender/Encore handgun meets that requirement.
