Yup, perhaps the job y'alls have been looking for.. we're looking for experienced desktop IT support. Winblows machines, some servers, networking.. the usual. Corporate environment, storage company. Does not report to me but there are a few pro gunners here and you'd be welcome. If you are not a pro gunner and not an avid Calgunner, sorry - keep looking. Dunno if your boss will be pro-gun, but some of the folks you help will be. No guarantees on the hire - you'd have to compete against other candidates as well.

PM me if you're interested in a job description. I'll need your email address to where I may send the descripto.

Update for May 2009 - well, looks like they did fill the job and it wasn't a Calgunner that took it, unfortunately. If anything else comes up, I'll post it here. Sorry guys, but thanks for the interest!

Bump! I am frankly surprised that there aren't more inquiries for people interested in doing desktop IT support.

I'd be interested. But San Jose is too far away.

I'd jump all over this if it were closer.

How could that be, I haven't even posted my pic yet? :)

Edited to add - have sent out the job description twice now. Some progress, but not as much as I had thought.

Happy Friday, everyone! I was just at our IT office and the seat is still empty. PM's replied to. Just bumping so that y'alls are aware this opportunity appears to still be open.

Right place, right job, wrong time.

I'm in San Jose. I work IT. I'm looking for a new position. I'm going to Afghanistan for a year leaving in the next few weeks.

Sorry!

Isn't that what IronChef was looking for before he bailed to Montana?

No problem, good luck on your deployment and wishing you all the best for a safe return.

I guess. But gun-wise, I think he'll be better off out there :D

I worked in the same area for 17 years, but since I started teaching, I don't have much time during week days... Call it curiosity, how much, roughly, is the pay for such work?

Damn I live in Ceres thats a bit to far for me  I need to brush up on active directory and learn server 2008 and exchange server 2007 anyway, my lacking here is really holding me back.
