Free bump for an awesom light.
FYI: This lamp can be fitted with any 6P head and LED P60 drop-in with this
http://tncproducts.com/hp_zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=137

Then you could go to Malkoff Devices and he sells the MC-E P60 LED drop-in. It cost $125 and will make 500 plus lumens out the front for over 1 hour on 2 batteries. Or you could go to Deal Extreme and purchase the Cree R2 for $10 bucks delivered.

I have around 6 of his P60 drop-ins for my G2, 6P, Z2, and P60 flashlights.

Surefire lights are like 1911's. High quality and tons of upgrades.

2 things to remember the malkoff will not throw as the far as the scout which is meant as a rifle light. The malkoff wins in the spill category for lighting up large spaces at close range but lacks the throw a rifle light needs.

Also surefire uses conservative lumen measurements considering that most other light mfgs take their measurements directly at the bulb. Someone calculated to scout output to be more like 210 lumens when using the same measurement.

The ED2L is a 2 stage version of the KX2C head which is on the scout.

Ill try to take some beam shots later today.

J_Rock is right. I have an E2DL (same LED as the Scout) and I compared it to a Malkoff M60. I was surprised to see the throw on the SureFire was slightly better considering the ratings on both units. Could it be that I got a particularly good SureFire and a particularly bad Malkoff? Sure. But that was my experience nonetheless.

FWIW, I find the throw on the Scout is better than the Millennium models. Also weird, but true.

Do you only have the pushbutton rear cap (Z68)? Because if you have the rear cap with a plug for my SR07 remote switch I will buy it!

PMs replied to.

Just to set things straight you will only be getting the KX2C head + body + clicky tailcap + off-set mount. Basically everything you see in the picture meaning no tapeswitch is included.

Only willing to trade for mag rebuild kits Pmags or lancers only.

The mount can fold out so you can position it on an off set from the rail. Pretty much like every other off set mount out there but its adjustable with some allen screws.

Currently the light is SPF to the first in line however I would still encourage you to line up in case the first buyer drops out.

Pls if you "foresee" and finanical difficulties or have any "emergencies" in the near future DONT COMMIT TO BUYING. Ive already had 2 people back out at the last minute so Im setting some rules.

If I have not received confirmation of payment being sent within 24 hours of committing to buying YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PLACE IN LINE and the light will go to someone else.

I hope you can understand that Im alittle ticked off when Im waiting for payment and someone says "oops cant pay".
