I have a taurus pt 24/7 pro, I cannot shoot the gun for crap when i try to aim, but when i point it, even with one hand, I can place the bullet within a man sized target with ease, even at 20 yards. Now the gun has great ergonomics, is extremely reliable, but part of me thinks I should sell it, pony down some more money, but a G17, work over the trigger, and fix it up a bit. And when its done a g17 will kick the 24/7's butt, right? What would you do?

yeah, i know its a cheapy gun, but it was my first pistol, likely a mistake/impulse buy. But i can point-shoot that gun very well, about equal to my 1911.

It was my first gun also, shot it many times... Never was very accurate with it.
Then last time at the range I did very well with it, to my amazement I began to like it again... Its a keeper.
I will continue practicing because those sights are difficult to aim with but now It's getting easier and i am beginning to like those Straight 8's...
I say keep it...
EDIT: Just reread your thread, it is a good gun to point shoot with.
