Just a little gun porn. EMP 9mm added Pheasant Wood Grips from Sarge's (http://www.thefinergrain.com), Pearce finger groove inserts and Semi Custom Mitch Rosen Express Line CLP IWB Holster.

Always like seeing an EMP. My wife has one. It's too small for my big meathooks. Can't get a proper purchase on it. Were your original grips damaged, or didn't suit you in some way? I actually like the factory grips a lot.

Hope you like your EMP a lot... my wife is quite fond of hers!

No the original grips were fine. these just have a better feel and with the pearce finger grooves it gives me a very comfortable grip on the EMP.

Its a great pistol.

Great pistol. You have the first Pheasant wood grips I have seen. That material is very hard to come by.

I'm trying to get a Milt Sparks holster for mine. How do you like the Mitch Rosen?

Its great, Its the Mitch Rosen Express Line, model CLP. Takes about 4 weeks to get and the cost was $75. It fits the EMP like a glove.

Sarge makes excellent grips. I have some dark English walnut that goes very well with my CQB. I also have a few other sets, I don't really remember the wood used by they're a chocolate brown with veins of "honey" flowing through them. They really sparkle at certain angles.

I like mine a lot. Mine wears Larry Davidson grips:

There are only two things about that I don't care for, and I need to get off my butt, and send it back to the factory to take care of: 1) the ambi safety, and 2) it needs a trigger job.

Very nice with the Davidson Grips. I almost went with the non-wood but I guess I am a traditionalist.

Again, Very nice.

Very nice. Those are hard to come by. I may need to get one to complete my 1911 family :)
