The UPS man just stopped by the office with my Springfield Armory lottery winnings! I submitted my paper work to get two extra mags for my XD40. I received 3 boxes...each with two mags and a mag pouch. I now have 8 mags and mag pouches to carry all of them. And more importantly, the waist line to carry them all!

I'm not sure that I'd want anew Spingfield now that it's obvious some of their employees are stoned at work.

You know there is been a lot of studies lately that state too much weight on your waist can be detrimental to your health. Since I am a good guy I will glady take half of those mags off of you. I know what you are all thinking, am just a nice guy, what can I say.

Got my two free .40 mags today. Bought gun in Nov, sent paperwork in Dec, received confirmation email a few weeks ago.

I got a little worried because I had several invoices from Springfield come in the mail today. Actually there were a total of 6 and all of them were $0 balance invoices. So....I'm wondering if I will be getting three more boxes on Monday.


Sorensen: I did send an e-mail to Springfield. If they provide a postage paid label I will return the extras. My wife rollers her eyes when I return to the grocery store to pay for the <blank> on the bottom of the cart they forgot to ring up.

That's good to hear
no reason you should foot the bill but if they want to pay it then they should go back.

I just received my two free magazines today also. Sent paperwork in Nov. Maybe I'll get 4 more tomorrow by accident? lol
