neighbor gave me 100 .223 rounds that are marked L C 2 7 on the base. what are they?

Sure it's not LC 72? if so its lake city brass (good stuff) and made in 1972. Lake city is some of the best stuff to work with (reloading)

LOL, it has to be LC 72. Ask your neighbor for more. The majority of my brass is LC and I really like it, the only thing that I dislike about it is the crimp on the primer pocket (after I had to swage 13k pieces lol).

ya ya... it has L C 70, 71, 72, 73... ok, just wanted to know. he got it from an old timer, box of 500 or something and told me too take ALL THAT I WANTED...:eek: i felt bad and took all that i could hold in both hands. i might ask for more. thanks guys

lol... ya, it is very very different. but kinda like rifles, you have large heavily ballasted all wood spearguns for larger pelagics and aluminum/carbonfiber smaller guns for smaller reef fish. long range/ short range...

I just use the long Riffe for the midwater shots and the short Riffe for the bottom shots. :) Need to get back in the water, actually. I haven't used my spearguns in years.

Very nice shot, and great camera work by your friend. In the Gulf, I never saw a school of anything edible that looked as pretty as those Mahi Mahi.
