To my knowledge only one of these in the world.

Made by Mark Lammers of LOSOK Arms (http://www.losokcustomarms.com/). Quality guy, though you'll have to wait a bit before your rifle is done. Well worth it in my opinion. Well worth it...

Shoots the typical 8mm (8x57) Mauser round. Modern day Charles-Daily left handed Mauser action built on a pre '43 K98k with a new Lothar-Walther barrel.

Supposed to be a .5 MOA shooter, though I haven't had a chance to take it out to the range. Will post targets first chance I get.

That is neat - I went to the site but this was not mentioned - May I ask what the cost was?

A rather cheap $ 900. I provided nothing except cash, and this price included shipping to Anchorage, Alaska (which couldn't have been cheap).

Charles Daly (KBI Inc) sold a lot of lefty barreled actions and complete guns in 30.06 and 270 and a push feed model mini Mauser in 223, etc.. They were just getting to the point of importing the longer lefty actions in 375 H&H when Remington bought the rights for the whole Zastave line. Remington is only bringing in the right handed guns now though.

I've never seen one built back into a K98 style rifle though, that is unique. The Zastava action is a little different from the original K98 but they are related.

man thats a nice gun. i'm left handed, so this would be perfect! except i still like using my right hand to charge the bolt. and being left handed with semi auto right handers is perfect at the range. they just go into my chest so i don't need them to set up a fence! $900 seems like a great price for such a fine firearm! nice purchase! and i'm going to need a range report.

That is a great price for a custom piece - Enjoy it - You might not be the only one -

Very nice. I'm left handed but I've gotten so used to working right handed bolt guns that a left handed rifle feels weird to me. I'm waiting for the mass production LH adapter to come out for the K31 and I will probably buy some of those.
