I was just cruising GB and ran across this. Worst part is he is local.

EDIT__

After looking at his other listing, I have no idea what he is up to. Complete ARs sell for less than lowers.

I wonder why he is using the P50 screwlock when they are on the verge of being deemed more hassle than they're worth. Kind of funny that he makes it seem like that is the best configuration option for CA legalities.

The location says "LA PALMA, CA". However, if you Google the name "Pro Defensive Firearms" it comes back to shop in Redlands. Here's a link to the website:http://prodefensivefirearms.com/old/

There is a ProDefensive Firearms shop in Redlands just off Alabama exit, just north of the I-10. It's in the back of a strip mall behind the Denny's/U-haul. The pics look like the inside of the shop (I've been in there a couple times).

The owner and employees were nice enough. Answered any/all questions and were curteous/respectful. They do not sell striped lowers, only complete lowers and/or rifles.

Any dealer is free to ask whatever they want for whatever they want. Good luck getting it though!

i wouldnt call it gouging especially at auction

if not for people charging more than others people would not be able to buy when they need an item because everyone is out of stock

Exit I-10 at Alabama St and turn north. You'll see the Dennys Rest. and the U-Haul Rental Center on your right. Turn right (east) next to U-Haul (Coulston St). Follow Coulston into the parking lot straight ahead. We're located in the rear of the first building

So is he located out of the back of a U-haul truck.
I wonder if he would give me a discount if I buy more then one, and if so will he front the weapons so I can use them to get the money to pay for them from the bank. lol

Rob454
02-14-2009, 12:12 PM
who cares. there are no bids on it. you can ask whatever you want for something. Doesnt actually mean youre gonna sell it for anywhere near your wanting price. I see plenty of stuff for sale and its for sale for a looonnngggg time. usually its the same part and the price just keeps dropping.
I put stuff for sale but i ask a decent fair price and guess what it usually sells for my asking price. isnstead of being greedy i rather get cash in hand than wait forever for that one sucker. And even then i dont think I could screw someone that badly
So anyone who is asking high prices good luck with your sale but in this economy good luck

Oh great ....here we go again !!! I saw this auction yesterday on GB and thought it might be 10% selling built lowers and then charging their standard fee of $500.00 to do the transfer.{as per another epic thread a few days ago } As there is no mention of a bucket of KY fried chicken I knew it wasn't 10%. The blonde may be available on a seperate auction,so I'm off to bid. ;) bplvr,.......gouging blondes since 1965. Sorry boys. If you were going to photo shop it, at least get the 93268 and Kern County right.

Plus $2500 is kind of cheap for one of those lowers. I just brought in a loan officer to speed along the applications for a second mortgage.

I'm an FFL in southern California, but will ship anywhere, or meet you half way in person
That is in violation of Federal law. You cannot perform any FFL functions except for on your licensed premises or a bona fide gunshow. Furthermore, if this guy is a FFL, assuming just an 01 FFL, he's also manufacturing firearms without being licensed as a firearm manufacturer. Building up a complete lower is building a firearm if done before the sale.

wow i'm famous. gunbroker charges me to end auctions and then relist them. To make sure noone buys them while i'm waiting on new shipments, i raise the price to something so hi that noone will buy it. and yes--i am taking advantage of the gi bill, yes i do have a store in redlands, and yes, the blond is a separate auction.

Fair market value is what someone is willing to pay for it, in an arms-length transaction.

Think it's overpriced? Don't bid on it.

There was a small shop out of redlands that was selling dpms complete rifles, bushy completes, and had open mag wells and sbr's on display at a gun show last year. as i recall, the promoter got wind of it and tossed them. the guys from that shop, two brothers (22-25ish) were selling rifles that dad (the ffl) was bringing in from az.
