Hey jrsill, have you shot it yet?

If you need help getting it to the range, I have a trailer that I've even used to transport cannons with. I think it should be rated to take the load of that thing.

BTW, welcome to calguns. Once you shoot that thing once or twice you'll understand why we are giving you a hard time. In the mean time, please don't be offended by anyone's comments. We really are here to help.

lulz...i mean im all for independence and doing your own thing...but having a muzzle break of a .50bmg rifle. thats just freaking hillarious.

if all else fails you can toss it at the guy and the shear weight of the gun will knock him out.

WAIT! I just realized that shooting this thing with the muzzle brake installed could be very DANGEROUS! Please, take the MB off before the wadding catches on it. If a pice of the wad gets trapped in the MB and you fire another round, several things might happen and most of them are bad. PLEASE, IN ALL SERIOUSNESS, TAKE OFF THE MUZZLEBRAKE!

the muzzle break comes on it from the factory, Would Mossberg really add something potentially dangerous to the user on their gun? I hope not!

Looks Like a cool shotgun, I dont care much for the reflex sight, sidewinder kit or anything else, but if you like it thats all that matters

one question that everyone else wants to know too, Have you shot it? Looks like a heavy gun with a lot of kick , also it doesnt have a stock which makes it even harder to shoot....

OK, the MB must be designed so that the wad will always clear it. Someone else had posted that it was a 50BMG brake so, I thought the OP had installed it himself. I'll apologize for sending up a red flag. But, on the other hand, all muzzle brakes have the potential of being dangerous for the user. It is up to the user to understand the risks and how to properly maintain his brake and watch for anything out of the ordinary.

Baron

That's gotta be super front heavy man. I have a sidewinder on my 500 as well, but I used a Mesa Tactical stock to even the weight out. My Zombie Blaster is really heavy too, but it's fun to shoot.
I just saw today that the roadblocker comes with the crazy brake on it. I thought you added it.
Your road bocker is crazy man, but I like your way of thinking...LOL... Mallninja's Unite... LOL, I'm still trying to figure out how to add a bayonet to my ZB500

Let us know how much the brake lowers the recoil.

The gun has a lot of extra accessories on it. Whether they are useful remains to be seen.

Test it out and I feel you'll eventually take most of that stuff off.

Dude, load up 10 Brenneke Special Forces Short Magnum Slugs in that drum and fire them at a old clunker with the engine running. I'd like to see if it would stop the engine. Don't forget to video tape it.

I wouldn't mind seeing a video of you just shooting 10 slugs rapid fire to watch the muzzle climb.

I wouldn't mind having this SG if I was manning a road block, but I wouldn't want to Bug Out carrying that thing.

nice mods, especially the sidewinder. ;)

that must hurt the inside of your hand when you fire it.

No its a real firearm. The whole concept of the Muzzle break on the road block was to dramatically reduce the recoil when fired. At least thats what the article said on G&A magazine. Plus you have to admit even if it didn't reduce recoil, It sure as heck will scar the ---- out of anyone who wants to bust through your door. Thats second type of cool right there. As well as the other accessories he put on.

As for the .22 I have no idea what Mossy was thinking other then a cool factor for the gun.

This does not refer to joking, ribbing or friendly teasing; these are things friends do. Neither does this rule give anyone free rein to be obnoxious and claim it as a specific trait. This rule refers to comments and post intended solely to offend, antagonize or hurt. If a trend appears of repeatedly posting not to add to the thread but to antagonize a particular member it will result in first a warning, then time off and finally closure of the account.

Where's the spike strip stored?

Spike strips...I knew I was missing something for my BoB. Thanks for the tip. ;)

As for the new guy's shotgun, play nice fellas. We've all gone a little overboard on a build before. No need to be rude. If you don't have something nice to say...don't say anything.

We can use all the new members we can get to help the cause. So making fun of somebody new to the forum, is just plain dumb. Polite teasing and jesting is one thing. But people were pretty mean to this guy. That hurts us all.

This is against forum rules.

7) Outright insults, name calling, denigrating comments and ‘baiting’ is not allowed.
That applies to personal insults and attacks.

It doesn't apply to comments directed at a particular inanimate object.
Nobody is calling the OP a stupid moron for building a tacticool 12ga... just pointing out the uselessness of his product.
