Can someone ask if they will have pistol lowers?

Tony.

Nope, the CavArm lowers are one piece polymer lowers with the buttstock and pistol grip molded in as part of the design.

are they still in business? Didn't ATF shut them down?

Yes, they are still in business. Yes, ATF did come in an pretty much confiscate everything. But they still have an FFL, and have moved the manufacturing equipment on-site, instead of sub-contracting it out, and are currently in production.

I had an opportunity to handle one of these the other day - personally, I would stay away. It has a fixed stock and pistol grip that are non-removable so no chance to add a MonsterMan and go featureless, no chance to upgrade the stock or grip, etc... If it was me I would spend a little more and get a standard aluminum lower. Only get one of these if price or weight is your #1 consideration.

I have 2 of the cav arms lowers built and so far have nothing but good things to say about them. You can definitely feel the weight difference on them in comparison to my other builds. YMMV.

I generally agree with you but - Some will want to build a lightweight weapon - And this lower is the ticket - It does have it's purpose out there -

They're a good option for a rimfire build - light weight, low impact and cheap.

Do you need a buffer tube for this? Or just buffer and buffer spring?

Guys, check with your FFL if they will accept without BB and 10 rds magazine installed. Fort Courage Armory will not accept without BB and 10 rds mag.

efillc - We can send the BB and mag to you if that will not be an issue.

If anyone else on here is in on this group buy in the LA area, what FFL are you using? Looking for a recommendation.

I ended up buying a barrel instead of getting in on this group buy, but this is a great deal especially with the current market.

Sorry for the dumb question but the group buy price is only $5 less than list. Is the point of the group buy to get the lower sooner?

If you buy it off of gunbroker you'd pay $150 + shipping & insurance. This is $145 and includes shipping and insurance.

This GB closes in a few hours.
