Just found some awesome pics of Magpul's new ACS (Adaptable Carbine/Storage) stock that I wanted to share.

NOTE: Pics are not mine, all the credit goes to Stickman on m4carbine.net!!

It looks like the love child of a CTR and a SOPMOD...in other words, it looks awesome!

EDIT: whoops, I guess this should really go in the rifles gallery, my bad.

eh.....I'll stick with the sopmod.

I like Magpul stuff but this is going to be just like the UBR.... tons on hype and very few hit the market.

Im more interested on what looks like a Noveske piston upper.

It's not a piston, just a gas block with different setting for suppressors and such.

What I come away with from this pic is that I never realized you can snap your PMag covers over the bottom of the floorplate

I like the stock. I think I'd buy one, assuming it's not over priced like almost all things Magpul.

Might want to check if it is only the EMag.

Maybe in 4 years the ACS will be available for purchase.

I'm pretty sure the preliminary pricing in Magpul's PDF was around $125.

Well it must be the new Pmag because I just tried it with one of my Pmags and it doesn't work. :(

I seem to remember something about that being a feature on the Emag now that I think about it.

Looks nice, but ide never have any use for it shooting at the range or desert, a bit overkill for the average shooter IMO..but hey thats just me

Forget that ugly looking stock.

Anybody know where I can get my hands on that AAC Flash Hider. I know that I can never ever own the Suppressor that mates to it, but it seems only the AAC Blackout is available for the public.

Anybody know a dealer that sells that particular one in the pic??

Overkill? No such thing as overkill. I'm thinking there's no use for lots of things people have on their rifles at the range. ie. flashlights, but that doesn't mean you don't need it. Spend some more time on CG and less listening to your wife..ha, j/k, got to go my wife is calling...

I really dig the ACS after holding/shouldering them. I'm looking forward to buying at least one.

The new Pmags will let you snap the dust cover to the bottom; it doesn't work with the current models.

Hopefully it'll be out soon because I don't like the UBR. I like the PRS, CTR, and this new stock.

The usual Magpul timeline is 3-4 years after they announce the product.

Well, the most of the MOE stuff made it out within the year. Hopefully their time to market gets better now that they have more money, via Pmag sales, and the licensing deal with Bushmaster.

You can't. This is their new version and I'm not sure it's out yet.

And I agree, Magpul is having hard enough time just getting the stuff out that they already have to be worrying about new stuff you won't see for a year or more.

Seeing as how they aren't anywhere near meeting the demand for the old model I would prefer they just make enough of the current version and slow down some of the new product development. I may be in the minority with that opinion though.

IMO that stock is butt ugly!

Magpul products are cool but dang they are sooooooooo slow getting products out.

The Chicoms have already cloned the MBUS BEFORE magpul even got theirs out for sale!

I think you can order them from AAC directly, atleast it makes sense to me because you may want to use your suppressor on 2 different rifles

I am still waiting on a whole bunch of UBR stocks going back almost 1 year now.

that's the american defense mount for the t/h-1. it's an absolute cowitness mount, the only one available.

larue's tall mount is 1/3 cowitness

the hk mount is a few millimeters below absolute.

the low one is obviously too low.

I'll post this link with the warning: Don't do it

I bought a set, seeing as Magpul isn't likely to release these for another few years. I am not particularly impressed by these, from both a design and construction standpoint. That's saying a lot, as it doesn't really take much to impress me.

I may have missed the info in an earlier post, but are these for mil-spec or commercial buffers?

The stock looks like a strange ugly combination magpuls ctr & ubr with the vltor emod.
But i'd like to see if it feels comfortable to shoot.
