I have have been shooting long range for a while (bolt and semi-auto). I would like a different semi auto tack driver. I have several M1As and would like to have an AR-10 among the bunch. I have looked a several posting on AR-10s and now I am finacially ready to put one together. I have checked with a few local shop but a majority are sold out of the Noveske N6. Those who have them, are charging an extra 30.00 to 50.00 for these lowers. Where can I go to purchase this particular lower and not get taken for a ride? Thanks in advance.

your not gonna find much thats not at a mark up at this point. 30-50 $$$ mark up isn't that bad, you might want to jump on it. Remember, even if you find a good deal on the webz your still gonna get hit with those transfer fees.

Not sure what you mean by marked up. I know what they can be bought for wholesale, and I know what they sell for. An N6 lower these days should be around $450 to $500.

Not sure where you are, but in the Bay Area you can find them for $450.

If you didn't know Ar10 lowers cost much more than a AR15 style lower. But I gather you know that.

Unless you are dead set on having the Noveske logo on the side of the receiver, I'd suggest getting an Aero Precision lower instead. Pretty much the exact same product for about $100.00 less.

It's a Blackthorne upper. I'm pretty sure these were take-off's from whatever inventory of Hesse HAR-25's remained when they changed names from Hesse to Blackthorne. They don't sell complete uppers anymore, but some of the individual parts like the 26" barrel and stripped upper receiver are still available:

I am in the Bay Area and can you point me in the direction of the shop that have them in stock for 450.00? I would like to get one in hand. Thanks.

J and J had them for 450 at the CM gun show. Call them they may have more. Parts kits are very hard to find for them. I agree with RED areo's are nice and priced cheaper. If you can find one.
