$74.00, but they said it shoots 8 x 56? Should I get it? They also had a Mossberg 500 Persuader edition for $269.99!

*edit*
Considering that the ammunition is very rare, and probably expensive I think that it would be a bad idea. I just wanted something fun to shoot at the range. I might be able to scrounge up the funds for the mossberg 500 though because that seems like a decent deal.

If any of you can tell me where to find cheap 8x56 for a Steyr M95 I might buy it.

*double edit*
found 20 round boxes for $24... I think that is pretty damn steep, and not sure if it is worth it.

For $74, buy it. I don't care if it shoots 40-82, a gun's a gun!

For $74.00, it would be a nice wall hanger. If you want a fun inexpensive shooter, wait for the Mosin Nagant deals.

Yeah, that's about the going price for 8x56R... IF you can find it, that is. I hear a lot of people reload their 8x56R.

I'm thinking of getting that M95 as well...

Or get a Ruger 10/22, 22lr ammo is about 500rds for $15 or so. Yes it is a much, much smaller cartridge, but it sure is cheap, relaible plinking fun.

As stated previously, it's still a gun. I'd buy one just to have, since $74 rifles are few and far in between. My arisaka's ammo costs about the same, but it's really fun to take it out for nostalgia's sake.
