View Full Version : Barrel length=different model per roster?

Okay, massive brain fart.

Do different barrel lengths of the same model revolver have to be added to the roster separately?

Say the 4" version is listed but the 6" is not, the 6" is not considered 'safe', right?

Yep - All have to be listed -

The gun variant sold to you must be the gun that was tested/Rostered.

(Those shorter or longer barrels can cause nuclear explosions if they are not certified, according to the Bradys.)

What gun are you lookin' at?

Is it a S&W revolver? ;)

[Many/most single-action revolvers do *not* require Rostering, however.]

A friend sent me an email about a 6" Taurus Tracker he saw on another forum. The seller is out of State so I checked the roster and found only the 4" model.
I wanted to warn him about unknowingly buying a non-listed handgun. I was pretty darn sure I was right but had enough doubt to want to confirm it before giving out bad info.
