Hello All,
Got a question regarding some .303 British ammo I have here.
Headstamp shows the letters HXP and the number 70.
Nice brass with heat treating at neck, looks like 150 Gr or so FMJ.
The number 70 must be the year 1970, what is HXP ?
Also what is it worth ?
Thanks for any info on these.

whatever

Greek surplus and some of the best out there. I've used the brass for multiple reloads with no wear yet. unfortunately it hasn't been imported in a long time. Used to get it for $13 a box of 48.

Good stuff, its Greek, non-corrosive, and non-berdan primed brass. It used to be in good supply about 10-15 years ago and now has all dried up. I bought a supply from an estate sale a few years ago for hoarding purposes. Hang on to it if you have an Enfield.

much of the .30-06 from CMP is HXP, it's great stuff.

From personal experience at City Arms, they have surplus .303 British at .40 a round in a box of 32. However, this is POF ammo.

How much do you have and is it in sealed boxes?

Honestly i am not sure, but the prices posted here seem to be fair. 11.95-15.00 for a box of 20 seems about normal and discounts usally apply when buying in bulk.

POF= Pakistani Ordanance Factory or something like that. I have heard but do not personal experience that POF=POS.
