I have a AK with a reciever made by Armory USA.
The reciever is marked- MOD AUSA
serial number and CAL 762X39

I did not see this in the off list for ak47, http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showpost.php?p=298586&postcount=12

which doesnt mean that its on the ban list.

does anyone have any info if this reciever is on the ban list.

Unless it is specifically listed in the Penal Code it is by definition "Off list" no listing of legal receivers will ever be complete because the law works the other way around.

You can find a listing of ALL AK Receivers that are banned on the AG website http://ag.ca.gov

this is the part that scares me,
its a krinkov pistol, and there is no markings on the reciever that states its a pistol.

It was made by Ohio Rapid Fire so Im sure it is regestered as a pistol.

I just wish i had documentation that states is a pistol.

hopefully sone of the AK guys can chime in but I don't see anything about it in 12276 or the Kasler list (http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/infobuls/kaslist.pdf) so it should be OK. It being a handgun is an important distinction for other non-AW reasons as well. More details would be good. Does it have a mag lock? If it is currently DROS'd as a pistol that shouldn't be an issue.

are you sure it's a krinkov pistol? because it can also be an aks-74u which is a CA banned by name. see the difference there? i don't. it's the same gun ( almost ). also, rely on a list located on CA DOJ website to cross check just in case.

its a yugo M92 krinkov pistol. Im sure of it.

the pistol was made from a M92 krink Yugo underfolder kit, by Ohio Rapid Fire, that i got from a group buy on ar15.com years ago. After the sunset of the AW ban. Minus the underfolder of course.

Its on a armory usa reciever that ohio rapid fire uses. markings: MOD AUSA

Its in Nevada at the moment.
I want to convert it to a single shot with fixed bullet sled and bring it into Kali, through a FFL and completely legally of course.

Armory USA is not on the CA AW ban list.
1.6mm are awesome receivers.
