50mm objective I'd think you'd need some High height rings.

Where'd you buy a ~$1500 scope that you couldn't get info on what to use? Heck, call Leupold or check their website

The Leupold Answer Guide

What are the Standard ring heights?
The Standard Ring heights are the following: 0.65" inch - Low 0.77" inch - Medium 0.90" inch - High 1.00" inch - Super High (The ring height measurement is taken from where the ring meets the top surface of the base to the middle of the ring opening.)

I think I found my answer in Snipershide. I will try the Burris XTR medium 1/2". Thanks.

I have badger standard rings on my 700 with a 6x20x50 MK4 scope which are .823 from the bottom to the center of the ring. They worked well with the standard VS barrel. With the thicker Shilen barrel the scope cover just touches the barrel.

50mm objective on a 30mm tube usually equates to medium 30mm rings.
Especially if it's going on a tactical 20moa base which tend to be a little taller to account for the slope.
