View Full Version : SVS Subwoofer and amp Elk Grove/Sac area only

I'm in the middle up upgrading my home theater so my old subwoofer has to go.

It's a SVS 25-31CS model but with the earlier cast aluminum frame speaker, not the new stamped steel one.

It's being powered by a Parts Express 250 watt plate amp. It has a built in variable crossover, phase adjustment and level control.
This is what the amp looks like

This sub POUNDS and has served me well

The sub is $380.00 new and a similar amp is around $140.00

Selling both for $250.00

Pickup only. It is hooked up if you want to hear it before you buy.

I'll leave this here for the Calgunners before I hit up craigslist and the home theater fourms.

Emails are best since I can't check PM's while I'm at work

For those that don't know, SVS is very well regarded in the HT world. I have one of their 20-39PC+'s and it's great.

Nobody needs a little (or a lot) of bass in their life?

if you were closer, i'd think about it. I have a different SVS and my bro has the PB Ultra 13 and these are awesome! Great Company, quality subs! For the price you'd never get anything like this at Best Buy or anything else.

GL with sale.

Yeah, free bump for a great sub. I've got a 20-39 in my living room and a small box sub in my bedroom. SVS makes excellent subs, especially for the price. GL to the seller.

Buyers, pick this up and watch BlackHawk Down. You'll feel like you are on the tarmac when the helicopters are taking off during the "Irene" scene. The sub puts a LOT of energy into the room during that scene.

Bump for a great brand! I have the SVS PB12-Ultra/2 and I think it will be the last sub that I'll ever need.
