*** SOLD ***

Thanks all!

Redlands, CA

Was running OK about 1-1/2yr ago when I loaned it to friend who promptly got into a fender bender with it... :(

Light front end damage to right bumper/headlight/fender. Still drivable, but not very pretty anymore.

Engine was replaced at 125,000 on the odometer with one of the used Japanese import motors, and exhaust system/cat were redone at the same time.

Tires are fairly new, will need a new windshield and A/C compressor.

Sold as is, with a few spare interior parts.

doesn't look that bad. I've rebuild way worse cars in my past. You should post pictures of the damaged side.

Yep, didn't look too bad before I loaned it out... :(
Let that be a lesson to us all! ... :)

The long box has a replacement 1/2 shaft drive axel I bought a while back after the original snapped on me. ( I wanted a spare)
I also have a replacement door panel for the right side. A new instrument bezel as well as the one that's trimmed to fit the CD player in the pic.

I'm the original owner and it was my daily commuter for 15years.
Now it's just taking up space.

Could be a nice project for someone with more time on their hands than me!

I have an 86, bought new 23 years ago in February, with 413K miles on it. The biggest engine work was to replace the distributor and intake manifold for small oil leaks so it could pass smog. It still runs great; the other day I drove to Reno, Carson City, south Tahoe to visit friends, and back down the hill, filled up at the same place before and after, and got 35 mpg. It still loves to shift at 7000 RPM.

They will run and run, the trunk and frunk are big enough to be practical, and the seats are fine on cross country trips (been to Texas and back twice, and Washington many times).
