just wanted to see what type of vacuum some of you may use with the dillon case trimmer. I have a little shop vac but its really loud and I do most of my trimming/reloading at night (past 9pm).

a quiet vacuum ("sucking machine" as in space no one can hear you scream) does not exist that being said you can put your shop vac in a sound deadening box

No such animal. I put my vac outside and ran a hose through the window. Sold the Dillon and bought a Giraud. No looking back. Just sore fingers!

Buy a cheap 12v portable one that's for cars. Cut the wires for the cigarette lighter off and hook it up to a 12v (or 9 or 6v if you want it lower power/quieter) wall wart.

They do sell mufflers at home depot for rigid vacums. May be able to adapt one to somewhat quiet the noise.

Any time I use the dillon trimmer, I also wear ear plugs and sometimes muffs (double plug). It usually doesn't take that long to trim up all the brass and I don't usually have to do it again once it's been trimmed so I just deal with it.

Another vote for wearing plugs or earmuffs when running the vacuum cleaner or shop vac. When I spend time vacuuming the car, I wear my plugs or muffs to save my hearing. No sense in damaging my hearing just to get some dead leaves out of the car..
