Nah, the wife is kinda pissed about it. We're going to scale back to around a 3-month supply. She kinda drew the line when I told her I was going to take down all the mini-blinds and put up armor plating.

No, I've been asked that, but everyone wants 'just the entrees' or 'fruit only' which ruins the whole 'balanced one year supply' thing for whatever is left.

In the garage. It's not too bad. It takes up about 4x6' of floor space and stacks about 3'high. 4x4x5 would work too. A lot of the foods are very dense and heavy.

how big must an earthquake be to warrant a whole years worth of food?

+1. Sounds more like a kit for when the asteroid comes.

I really think this would sell if you split it up. Like you, I think most people are interested in a 3 month supply, and you'd probably end up making back closer to your original investment. Just a thought

Good question! I'm SURE the government will come save you before long. Nothing could ever happen, I'm sure the grocery stores will always be stocked.

The way it's packed, every box (58) has to be opened and all the cans (350+) redistributed. I could do it, but I'm going to wait and see if someone wants the whole thing...people tend to like things factory sealed. After a couple more bumps, I'll probably do it.

A years supply for 2 might seem like overkill but how many people could you see heading to your house in an emergency ?

I did a quick count and there are about 20 people whom I could not refuse entry

I would totally buy this if the government had left me with any of my money this year :(

I was thinking of putting a kit together for a week's supply.
1 year supply and armor plating. You were set for an alien invasion. Too bad you had to sell it.
