Incendiary & tracer ammo illegal in CA - considered 'destructive devices'.

While it appears (possibly!) that components might be legal, I wouldn't risk having 'em.

All other ammo, fine.

Just where is this ammo? If you have to travel more then 5 miles to get it, it may not be legal and I will have to buy it instead..I have a distance exemption permit thingy and you dont...so just tell me where this ammo is.....

This is not totally true! There is one exception. Shotgun tracer ammo is perfectly legal in Ca. Yes, it has been made. I have two cases of it and I'm not affraid to publicly state that.

Yes you can. Any "normal" ammo you are likely to see in the stores is perfectly fine to purchase from any private party.

Now if it is armor piercing, incendiary (tracer) round, or may a round you might fire from a tank you may take a second to wonder if you can shoot it in California.

It's still legal as far as I know.

Can a president submit an executive order on his first day?

Executive order 20090117-1, signed on January 21, 2009, prohibits the sale or transfer of all ammunition. Possession of more than six rounds of ammunition is also prohibited. However, you can still purchase all the "ammo" you want for your musket, although you will be limited to 8 ounces of powder.

I just bought 1000 rounds from a fellow Calgunner and I'm not in jail. Got a damn good deal on 'em too.

Well, it's a bit later in the day. Do you still feel that way?
