Hi calgunners I need your help! I'm looking for someone who can take delivery of a gun for me in the Sacramento area. I found one post for a FFL in Sac and I contacted the guy but his price was to high for me ($40-45) I also checked out the stickied FFL list and found just ONE guy from Sac that will do transfers for $25 but I have no clue if he is even still doing transfers or whether he does deliveries or not. So any help would be nice I'd love to be able to get this all done for $25. Does anyone know if the listed FFL from the sticky is still doing transfers or if he will take deliveries?

There are quite a few shops that do FFl's in Sacrametno, however I am not sure what their charges are. I would recommend River City Gun Exchange.

$40-$45 is the going price for most transfers. It sounds reasonable to me, unless the gun you're buying is a cheapy.

$45 and up +Dros is what you're going to pay if you are looking for an FFL with regular days and hours. The guy that does it for $25 +Dros is a great guy but his limited hours don't mesh with the average work schedule

You probably wont be able to get it done for $25, most shops that take delivery charge either 10% the price of the firearm or $50-$75. Thats pretty much standard. To find the FFLs in your area go to Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) and search for "Gun Shop 95818", replacing 95818 with your zip code. Then just call for their fees.

sorry guys and thanks for the info, I actually did do a search last night before I posed this but it just gave me a random list of threads. I also checked the FFL list, thats what I was asking about at the end of my orgional post whether or not the guy listed ( think his name is robert snegel) is even doing transfers and if he takes deliveries. I think I will give him a call tonight and find out.

+1 to Bob, odd hours, but his prices are very competitive and fair, and he's a great guy to work with.

Forgive me for being under the impression that the mentioned FFL does not like his name posted publicly.

Haha you're totally right. That was quite hypocritical of myself.

I retract my statement.

Good looking out :D

LOL. I can see the post counts, but I was sure you knew better.. That's why I recused myself, anticipating to be informed that
something may have changed in his wishes to remain a silent Calguns partner.

yes I did- and if you notice I linked to the conversation about said FFLs in Sac including the one who wishes to not be named. And that with a phone call all his questions would be answered.;)
