I'm getting a divorce and MAY end up taking over the house soon. I would need to get a roommate or two and would rather start looking for people here first. If anyone is interested in a room in a 3 bedroom house with pool and use of my reloading equipment, powder magazine, etc. let me know. I don't know about $ yet. I'm just trying to see if there is any interest. BTW, most pets would be fine but, I'm highly allergic to cats!

A pool and reloading equipment? If you have a fridge for beer, I don't think you'll have any trouble finding someone. If you were closer to me, I'd move in!

Oh yea, there's also a hawk/knife throw in the backyard and an air compressor, table saw, drill press, radial arm saw, welders, etc. in the garage.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I guess my wife is still keeping me a little longer or is it the other way around??

What a great set-up! Where in T.O. are you located and how much are you charging per room?

It's just off Avenida De Los Arboles and Moorpark. I'd be looking for about $650 plus a portion of utilities. There's also a washer/dryer and possibly parking for a trailer/boat/RV/cannon etc. Obviously, only gun friendly roommates would be considered.

Wow, I would totally take you up on this offer if I weren't some financially insecure, 20-year-old, punk kid. Sounds like a great place to live!

I guess finding a job in that area would be another mission, as well.

Been there, done that. My stepson's father is a 5150 (yes, he was legally proclaimed a 5150 a few years ago) porn producer who hated the fact that I was teaching his son how to properly handle firearms. I think I trained him well though. Hell, the first time he got to shoot at 1000 yards, he was 13 and he shot a 10 3/4", 5 shot group during his first match! He loaded his own ammo too. So, now that he's gone and I could use a new trainie. Of course, training starts with following dirrections like, "go mow the lawn, clean the pool and paint the house before lunch."

On a more serious note, I hope to know within the next couple of week if this is going to be doable for me. If it is, I hope to find two renters, one would be needed asap and the other by April. So, if anyone is interested in the possibility, let me know.

Those are all the things I want, but my wife says no. Probably a good thing because we'd end up divorced as well! At least she did say it was OK to get a bigger safe.

Hope things work out.
