Yes, it does weigh more. The head/bezels has the P7 LED which means it uses 4 LED emitters which is why it gives so much light.

Also, unlike the the ebay or Deal Extreme P7 emitters that claim 900 lumens with amp draw close to 1.5amps aka only 300 to 400 lumens at best. This is a Gene Malkoff P7 that draws 2.8amp. You get actual 700 lumens.

No pics, but I do have a video:D
Keep in mind I am comparing it against the very best in the LED surefire industry: The Malkoff M60. Those who don't know just google Gene Malkoff and he is the only vender that sells drop-ins that make a true 225 lumens. So, the video shows the M60 vs the P7.
Note: P7's are more flood and slightly less throw, but the M60 has the opposite and a third of the lumens the P7 has.

Please Note: that regardless of what you hear on ebay with those 200, 300, 400 lumens for the Surefire G2/6P G3/9P none make close to 200 lumens as tested in the only non-bias test

At best those 400 lumen Cree R2's give you a descent 120 lumens, but no where near the 400 advertised.
Also look at the chart and you will see the Malkoff M60 actually gives the advertised lumens and currently is the only LED drop-in that delivers the most Lumens; well untill the (Gene Malkoff) man himself hand made in the U.S.A this P7: which he currently doesn't sell, but makes upon request when he has the time.
