I have had my sig since last summer but have never had access to a camera after mine was stolen in a break in, but recently got my hands on a digicam and decided to snap some pics of my first firearm

Classic Sigs are soo freaking gorgeous and damn reliable. My 226 9mm is by far my favorite handgun.

yes the p228 was discontinued and replaced by the p229...but many sig fans consider the 228 the holy grail of handguns :D

and look what came in the mail!

I'd like to get a 228 but I might have to settle for a 226 since they are so hard to find.

What a beaut... As soon as I get some $$$ I think im going to invest in one (or prolly a 226 cause they are easier to find). Cant go wrong!

Beautiful. I want a 228.... The fact that the SAS use this as their side arm says something.

Excellent choice of a first firearm and pretty sure it won't be the last. Congrats!

Partially i guess you could say so. That night really sucked, came home from work only to find my place ransacked and at the front door was a bat (that didnt originate in my house) and three or four of my golf clubs, all just leaning up against the couch and wall...so four or five guys stood to "guard" the door just in case anyone came home while the rest of the team quite literally tore the house apart

there is not much i could have done in a situation like that, but i always think of what would have happened if i had gotten off early that night and was home for when they broke in

That sucks. I'm worried because both of my next door neighbors (to my right and left) had their places broken into recently. They're pretty daring too as the last break-in happened at 10am Sunday morning.
